Graduation Ceremony Held

Our graduation ceremony was held with great enthusiasm and high participation. Hosted by our Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Prof. Dr. Hatice Aydın, at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall, the ceremony was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erçakar, our Secretary General Faruk Küçük, our academic and administrative staff, members of the press, our students, and their families.

Beginning with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, the ceremony featured the screening of our University's introductory film. Following the introductory film, a video prepared by our students, consisting of memories they accumulated throughout their educational lives, was screened. Afterwards, the opening speech was delivered by our Dean, Prof. Dr. Hatice Aydın. Congratulating our graduating students in her speech, our Dean Prof. Dr. Hatice Aydın wished them success in their professional lives. Delivering welcoming remarks, our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz congratulated our students on their graduation, wished them well, and wished them success in their future lives.

Following the protocol speeches, Elif Tıraş, our New Media and Communication Department student who graduated as the top student of our faculty for the 2025–2026 academic year, performed the ceremony of nailing a plaque onto the graduation log. In her speech on behalf of all graduating students, Elif Tıraş shared the happiness and pride she felt on this meaningful day. Afterwards, certificates of achievement and awards were presented to the high-ranking students across the faculty. The certificate of achievement and award were presented to our faculty valedictorian and department student Elif Tıraş by our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, accompanied by our Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Hatice Aydın. Certificates of achievement and awards were presented to the high-ranking students of our department by our Vice Rectors, Secretary General, and relevant department heads. Following the presentation of certificates and awards, sapling donation certificates made in honor of our graduates to turn this meaningful day into a lasting memory were presented to our students. Afterwards, graduation souvenir certificates were presented to our graduating students by our academic and administrative staff.

While our students who received their certificates and their families experienced great excitement and happiness, the graduation enthusiasm was crowned with photo and video sessions. The graduation ceremony, which took place with great enthusiasm, concluded with our graduating students tossing their caps into the air together. We congratulate all our graduating students who have successfully completed their departments and stepped into their professional lives, and we wish them success in the new chapter of their lives.
