Prof. Dr. Hatice AYDIN
Dean
orn in 1983, Prof. Dr. Hatice Aydın completed her primary, middle, and high school education in Ümraniye, Istanbul, at İnanç Türkeş Middle School and Nevzat Ayaz Anatolian High School. In 2006, she graduated top of her class from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration at Atatürk University. She received her Master's degree from the Department of Production Management and Marketing at the Institute of Social Sciences, Atatürk University in 2009, and her Ph.D. in "Marketing" in 2015.
Between 2010 and 2012, she was appointed as a lecturer at the Department of Business Administration, Erciş Faculty of Business at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, and between 2012 and 2014, she served as a lecturer and Deputy Head of Program at the Department of Marketing and Advertising, Vocational School of Social Sciences at Muş Alparslan University. She was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Muş Alparslan University from 2014 to 2017, and at the Department of International Trade and Logistics Management, Ömer Seyfettin Faculty of Applied Sciences at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University from 2017 to 2018.
Earning the title of Associate Professor in the field of Marketing in July 2018, Aydın was appointed as a Professor at the Department of Public Relations and Advertising, Ömer Seyfettin Faculty of Applied Sciences at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University in 2023. Currently carrying out her academic duties in the Department of Public Relations and Advertising at the Faculty of Communication, Aydın has numerous scientific studies in the fields of Integrated Marketing Communications, Social Media Applications, Digital Marketing, and Consumer Psychology.
Prof. Dr. Hatice Aydın served as the Head of both the International Trade and Logistics Management and Public Relations and Advertising Departments at the Ömer Seyfettin Faculty of Applied Sciences between 2019 and 2024. Having chaired the Organizing Committees for various workshops and summits and served on numerous commissions and boards, Aydın worked as a Committee Member on the Quality Assurance Committee of the Social, Humanities and Basic Sciences Accreditation and Rating Association (STAR) and as an Independent Evaluator for the Strategic Research and Productivity Project Awards of the Ministry of Industry and Technology in 2023.
Serving as the Head of the Public Relations and Advertising Department during the 2023-2024 Academic Year, Aydın was appointed as the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University on July 5, 2024, and as the Principal Dean on February 11, 2025. In addition to her duties as a Member of the University Senate and Executive Board, Member of the Faculty and Executive Board, and Accreditation Mentor, she also continues her role as an Academic Evaluator for the Social, Humanities and Basic Sciences Accreditation and Rating Association (STAR).
