Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sinan TAM
Vice Dean
Born in 1990, Mehmet Sinan TAM completed his primary, middle, and high school education in Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ. In 2013, he graduated top of his class from the Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Publicity at Fırat University. In 2015, TAM completed his Master's degree in the Department of Public Relations at the Institute of Social Sciences, Marmara University, with his thesis titled "Selfie Posts on Social Media within the Framework of Erving Goffman's Dramaturgical Theory." He received his Ph.D. in 2020 from the Department of Public Relations and Publicity at the Institute of Social Sciences, Istanbul University, with his thesis titled "The Opinion Leadership Role of Social Media Influencers," which was supported by TÜBİTAK. TAM earned the title of Associate Professor in the field of "Communication Studies" in July 2023.
Starting his professional career in 2015 as a Research Assistant in the Department of Public Relations and Advertising at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Istanbul Gelişim University, TAM worked as a Lecturer and Head of the Public Relations and Publicity Program at Karadeniz Technical University between 2016 and 2022. Currently carrying out his academic duties in the Department of Public Relations and Advertising at the Faculty of Communication, Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, TAM conducts academic research in the fields of "Social Media, Advertising, and Public Relations."
Serving as the Vice Head of the Department of Public Relations and Advertising during the 2023-2024 Academic Year, TAM was appointed as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University as of July 22, 2024. In addition to his membership on the Faculty Board, he holds administrative roles on various boards and commissions.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet GÜVEN
Vice Dean
Born in Balıkesir, Ahmet Güven completed his primary, middle, and high school education in Edremit, Balıkesir. He graduated from the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Anadolu University, in 2007. Starting his career as a Research Assistant at the Department of Public Relations and Publicity, Faculty of Communication at Gümüşhane University in 2010, Güven continued to work as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Communication, Marmara University, between 2011 and 2018. In 2013, he completed his Master's degree in the Department of Interpersonal Communication at the Institute of Social Sciences, Marmara University, with his thesis titled "The Role of Family Communication in Child Identity Development: An Examination from the Perspective of the Islamic Religion." In 2017, he received his Ph.D. title from the same department with his thesis titled "Ideological Content in Cartoons in the Context of the Sociology of Knowledge: The Case of Avatar and Cille."
Working as a faculty member in the Department of New Media and Communication at the Ömer Seyfettin Faculty of Applied Sciences, Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University since 2018, Güven became an Associate Professor in 2021. He served as the Head of the New Media and Communication Department between 2018 and 2024. As of July 2024, he was appointed as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University.
