THE MUST BE FOLLOWED BY STUDENTS BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER EXAMS RULES

(1) Exams are held at the time and in the exam hall specified in the exam program announced on the website of the relevant unit. Once the exam schedule is announced, students are responsible for keeping track of which day, at what time and in which class their exams will be held.

(2) Students must be in the exam hall when the exam starts. However, students who come to the exam hall within the first 15 minutes following the start of the exam are also accepted for the exam. These students are not given additional time. Students who arrive at the exam hall more than 15 minutes late will not be allowed into the exam.

(3) Students who do not have a student ID card or a student certificate obtained in the relevant period are not allowed into the exam hall.

(4) Students must comply with the exam invigilators' requests and warnings regarding the seating arrangement and exam order without arguing. Exam invigilators keep a report on students who do not comply with their instructions, which will serve as a basis for disciplinary investigation.

(5) Students must come to the exam hall with materials such as pencils and erasers that will be used in writing the exam. Students can bring resources to the exam hall that have been authorized by the instructor to be used in the exam. They cannot bring any items, such as mobile phones, lecture notes, and textbooks, into the exam hall other than those listed above. If brought, mobile phones are turned off, lecture notes, textbooks and other belongings and materials are placed by the student in a place that the student cannot reach during the exam. Exam invigilators can also keep mobile phones, lecture notes, textbooks and other items and materials under surveillance for exam order.

(6) Students do not ask each other for pencils, erasers, calculators, etc. during the exam. It is forbidden to give or receive materials.

(7) The exam is deemed to have started when the exam invigilator verbally announces that the exam has started.

(8) Students write their identity information completely on their exam papers and answer sheets. In exams conducted by test method, the requested personal information must be filled in the optical forms, the booklet type must be coded correctly and the answers to the questions must be marked on the optical form. If these are not done or missing, the responsibility for the grievance that will occur belongs to the student.

(9) Students cannot engage in behavior that would disrupt the order of the exam, such as talking to students around them, looking at another student's exam paper, showing the exam paper to another student, ignoring the invigilator's warnings, arguing with the exam invigilator, insulting the exam invigilator, threatening the exam invigilator, or consuming food or drink in a way that may disturb others.

(10) During the exam, using a source not authorized by the course instructor, looking at another student's exam paper, showing the exam paper to another student, exchanging any written or verbal information with another student, using a mobile phone and similar actions are considered cheating. A student who engages in behavior that would be considered cheating is asked to hand over the exam paper to the exam invigilator and leave the exam hall. A disciplinary investigation is initiated against students who attempt to cheat in exams, based on the minutes kept.

(11) Students should not leave the exam hall for the first 15 minutes following the start of the exam, except in cases of necessity. If the attendance sheet is not completed within this period, the exam invigilator may extend the students' compulsory stay in the exam hall.

(12) The exam is deemed to be over when the exam invigilator announces the end of the exam verbally. Students must quickly submit their exam papers to the exam invigilator after the announcement that the exam is over.

(13) Students cannot leave the exam hall without signing the exam report and submitting their exam papers to the exam invigilator.

(14) After students submit their exam papers and leave the exam hall, they cannot re-enter the exam hall or wait in the corridors until the exam is over.

(15) Exam questions or the answers given to these questions cannot be taken out of the exam hall or spread to others by writing them on a piece of paper or taking pictures with a mobile phone. Actions taken for this purpose are considered as cheating attempts and a disciplinary investigation is initiated against the student
