The event titled "Bird Lake Stories" was organized in collaboration with our Film Workshop Club and the Bandırma Şehit Mehmet Günenç High School Alumni Association at the Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Conference Hall. Our academic and administrative staff, as well as our students, showed great interest in the program.

The event held at the Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Conference Hall was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erçakar, our Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Hatice Aydın, members of the Bandırma Şehit Mehmet Günenç High School Alumni Association, members of the Bandırma Photographic Art Association, members of the press, academic staff, and students.

The program began with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a slide show by photography artist Münip Bayraktar, a founding member of the Bandırma Photographic Art Association (BANFAD). Afterwards, the talk session began.

During the talk, Münip Bayraktar shared his presentation, consisting of photographs of Manyas Bird Lake, with the participants and shared his insights on nature, photography, and documentary narrative. Following his presentation, Bayraktar answered questions from the audience and students.

At the end of the event, a plaque of appreciation was presented to photography artist Münip Bayraktar by our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel. The program concluded with a group photo taken to commemorate the day.
