Our Students Won the 3rd Place Award at the TRT Future Communicators Competition

Beyzanur Yurttutan, Harun Erdal, and Nurican Albayrak, students of the New Media and Communication Department, won the 3rd place award in the documentary film category of the TRT Future Communicators Competition with their documentary titled "From Bandırma to the Moon" (Bandırma’dan Ay’a).

The TRT Future Communicators 2022 Award Ceremony, organized annually by the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT), took place at the TRT Ankara Studios. Having succeeded in reaching the finals, New Media and Communication students Beyzanur Yurttutan, Harun Erdal, and Nurican Albayrak attended the award ceremony accompanied by Lect. Yakup Toktay, who served as the advisor for their documentary project.

On a night where students from the communication departments of universities across Turkey competed, our students were entitled to receive the third-place award. Our students expressed their happiness for making it to the finals and returning with an award in a competition where Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University was represented for the very first time.
