Communication Sciences
In general, the Communication Sciences Division conducts its research within a broad framework of social theory, encompassing areas such as the sociology of communication, social psychology, communication law, philosophy of communication, and political communication.
Its fields of study consist of diverse areas including democracy, the public sphere, the relationship between media and power, the self, media representation, identity, gender, and election campaigns.
Courses such as Mass Communication Theories, Turkish Political Life, Effective Communication and Presentation Skills, Persuasion and Perception Management, Corporate Communication, Crisis Communication and Reputation Management, as well as Media, Politics, and Culture are offered under the umbrella of this division.
