An event titled "Media Summit" was organized by our Media and Communication Club within the scope of the University Student Clubs Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES). The program, held at the Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Conference Hall, was attended by our Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Prof. Dr. Hatice Aydın, Balıkesir Youth Office Director Mustafa Cansever, academic staff, and a large number of students.

The event began with the opening speeches of Prof. Dr. Hatice Aydın and Mustafa Cansever. The first guest of the program, television journalist Gizem Gündoğdu, shared her experiences in the field of journalism with the participants. In the interview moderated by New Media and Communication Department student Esma Açık, Gündoğdu also answered questions from the students.

In the second part of the event, renowned presenter Vahe Kılıçarslan met with the audience in a session moderated by Cemre Karpuzoğlu, a New Media and Communication Department student and the club president. Kılıçarslan shared his knowledge and background in television programming and made significant evaluations regarding the sector.

The final guest of the program was journalist Buket Aydın. In the interview moderated by New Media and Communication Department student Sercan Berk Karasu, Aydın shared the experiences she has gained in both the traditional and new media fields. At the end of the event, plaques of appreciation were presented to the speakers by our Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Prof. Dr. Hatice Aydın, Balıkesir Youth Office Director Mustafa Cansever, and our Media and Communication Club Advisor, Asst. Prof. Dr. İpek Tok.

The Media Summit concluded with a group photo shoot to commemorate the day.
